How our cards are made...
Precision Etching: We begin with high-quality rolled stainless steel, using laser etching for patterns and cut-throughs. Text and graphics are chemically milled by applying a photo-resistive film, exposing the metal to acid, and revealing the lighter core for sharp contrast. Optional Pantone polymer infills add vibrant color to recessed areas.
Autocatalytic Plating: For our matte black, gold, and copper finishes, we use autocatalytic plating, resulting in a durable coating that enhances the card’s aesthetic.
- Precision Cut-Throughs: To achieve detailed cut-through designs, etching is precisely aligned on both sides of the card until the areas meet, forming clean, defined holes for intricate patterns.
